Terms of Use

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and PupSnap Ventures LLC ("PupSnap," "we," "us"). They apply when you visit pupsnap.shop or any PupSnap page, sign up through any PupSnap form or QR code, attend a PupSnap event, enter a PupSnap promotion, back or buy a PupSnap product, or receive our communications (together, the "Services"). By checking a box that references these Terms, submitting a form, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy below. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to sign up, submit information, enter a promotion, or buy from us. The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

3. Communications from PupSnap

By giving us your email address or other contact details, you agree that PupSnap may contact you about:

What you signed up for, such as event photos, order and pledge updates, shipping notices, and customer support ("service messages").
PupSnap news, products, launches, crowdfunding campaigns, events, content, surveys, and special offers ("marketing messages").
Offers, products, and promotions from PupSnap's affiliates and from brand partners we choose to work with, sent by PupSnap or on PupSnap's behalf.

Unsubscribing. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also opt out by emailing info.pupsnap@gmail.com. We will honor opt-outs within 10 business days. Even after you opt out of marketing messages, we may still send service messages about things you have asked for or bought.

Text messages. We send text messages only if you separately opt in to texts through a form that says so. That opt-in will describe the messages, their frequency, and how to stop them. Consent to texts is never a condition of any purchase.

Partners. We don't give your email address to partners for their own marketing unless you separately agree to that at the time. See the Privacy Policy for how we share information.

4. Events and photography

Your dog, your responsibility. If you bring a dog to a PupSnap event, photo session, or meetup, you are responsible for your dog's behavior, health, and safety, and for any injury or damage your dog causes to people, other animals, or property. Dogs must be vaccinated as required by local law, leashed unless the event says otherwise, and supervised at all times. We may ask anyone to leave if their dog appears unsafe or unwell.

Normal risks. Gatherings of dogs and people carry ordinary risks, including dogs reacting to each other, bites, scratches, trips, falls, and illness. By attending, you accept these risks for yourself, your dog, and anyone you bring, and you agree that PupSnap and its organizers, hosts, venues, and volunteers are not responsible for them, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct or as otherwise required by law.

Photos and video. PupSnap may photograph and film at its events. By attending or signing up, you agree that:

We may photograph and film your dog, and may use, edit, share, and publish those images, including in galleries emailed to all event sign-ups, on our website and social media, and in our marketing and advertising, in any media, worldwide, without payment to you.
Event galleries may be shared with everyone who signed up for that event, so other attendees can see photos of your dog and anyone else pictured.
We will not post images of a minor publicly without a parent's or guardian's consent.

Use of your likeness. By agreeing to these Terms, you consent to PupSnap photographing and filming you when you are with your dog at our events or photo sessions, and to PupSnap using your image, likeness, and voice as captured in those photos and videos, along with your first name or social media handle if you have shared it, in PupSnap's marketing, advertising, social media, website, email, and crowdfunding content, in any media, worldwide, without payment to you. You give this consent in writing for purposes of New York Civil Rights Law Sections 50 and 51 and similar laws in other states. We will not use your full name, attribute a quote or product review to you, or use your image in a demeaning way without asking you first. If you don't want to be photographed, tell the photographer at the event and we will photograph only your dog. People who appear in photos but have not agreed to these Terms will not be featured in our marketing without their consent.

Takedown requests. You can ask us to stop using any photo or video of you or your dog at any time by emailing info.pupsnap@gmail.com with a link to or description of the content. Within 10 business days of your request, we will remove it from our website, social media accounts, email templates, crowdfunding pages, and active ads that we control, and we will not use it in new content. We can't recall emails already sent, printed materials already distributed, or copies that others have shared or downloaded, and we may keep a record copy as needed to honor your request and meet legal obligations. A takedown request does not affect uses made before it.

You may use event photos we send you for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please tag @pupsnap when you post them.

5. Content you share with us

If you send us photos or videos, tag @pupsnap or use a PupSnap hashtag, post a review, or submit other content ("Your Content"), you confirm that you own it or have permission to share it, including permission from anyone shown in it. You give PupSnap a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual license to use, reproduce, edit, display, and distribute Your Content, with credit where practical, in connection with PupSnap's business, including marketing. If we want to feature Your Content in paid advertising, we'll ask you first. You keep ownership of Your Content.

6. Products, pre-orders, and crowdfunding

Crowdfunding. PupSnap may raise funds through Kickstarter or another crowdfunding platform. Pledges are governed by that platform's own terms in addition to these Terms. Delivery dates in a campaign are good-faith estimates based on our manufacturing plans and can change. We will post updates if they do. Supporting a product in development carries the risk of delays or changes to the final product.

Pre-orders and purchases. Prices, availability, and product details may change before you order. When you place an order, any additional terms shown at checkout, including shipping, returns, and refund terms, also apply.

Using PupSnap products safely. PupSnap products are play-and-capture accessories, not chew toys. Always supervise your dog while it uses a PupSnap product, follow the sizing and use guidance that comes with the product, inspect the product before each use, and stop using it if it is damaged or worn. Remove the product if your dog tries to chew it apart or swallow pieces. You are responsible for any phone, camera, or other device you attach. PupSnap is not responsible for damage to devices from drops, bites, water, or impact.

7. Promotions and giveaways

Contests, sweepstakes, and giveaways we run will have their own official rules, which apply alongside these Terms. If the official rules conflict with these Terms, the official rules control for that promotion. No purchase is ever necessary to enter where the law requires a free method of entry.

8. Intellectual property

The PupSnap name, logo, product designs, website, photos, videos, and other materials are owned by PupSnap or its licensors and are protected by trademark, copyright, and patent laws. PupSnap's product design is patent pending. You may not copy, reproduce, sell, or create products based on our designs or materials without our written permission, except for sharing our public posts with credit and using event photos as described in Section 4.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to: submit false information or someone else's contact details; interfere with or attempt to break the Services or their security; scrape, harvest, or collect other users' information; use the Services to send spam or anything unlawful, harassing, or harmful; or misrepresent your connection with PupSnap. We may refuse service or remove anyone who breaks these rules.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PUPSNAP DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, EXCEPT ANY WARRANTY EXPRESSLY STATED IN WRITING WITH A PRODUCT. We don't guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free, that every photo will turn out or include your dog, or that photos will be delivered by a specific date.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PUPSNAP AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND PARTNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST DATA, LOST PROFITS, OR DAMAGE TO DEVICES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICES IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID PUPSNAP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR $100. Some states don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold harmless PupSnap and its owners, employees, contractors, event hosts, and venues from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your breach of these Terms, Your Content, or any injury or damage caused by your dog.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you have a concern, please email us first at info.pupsnap@gmail.com; most issues can be resolved quickly that way. If we can't resolve it within 30 days, either of us may bring a claim in small claims court where it qualifies, or otherwise in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and we both consent to those courts' jurisdiction.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as PupSnap grows, for example when we open a store or launch a new product. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top, and for significant changes we'll notify sign-ups by email or on our website. Continuing to use the Services after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

15. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization of our business. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and PupSnap about the Services, except for any product, checkout, or promotion terms that also apply.

Privacy Policy

Effective October 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information PupSnap Ventures LLC collects, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, forms, QR sign-ups, events, emails, promotions, and sales.

What we collect

Information you give us: your name, email address, your dog's name and details (like breed, size, or costume), social media handles, shipping and billing details when you order, survey answers, messages you send us, and photos or videos you share. If you opt in to texts, your phone number.

Photos and video from events: images of dogs and, sometimes, the people with them.

Information collected automatically: when you visit our site or open our emails, we and our service providers collect device and browser information, IP address, approximate location, pages viewed, links clicked, referring site, and whether you opened an email. We use cookies, pixels, and similar tools to do this.

Information from others: crowdfunding platforms share backer details we need to deliver rewards, and social platforms may share information when you interact with our accounts or ads.

Payment card numbers are handled by our payment processors and crowdfunding platforms. PupSnap does not store full card numbers.

How we use it

To deliver what you asked for: event photos, orders, pledges, shipping, and support.
To send marketing messages and partner offers as described in our Terms of Use, Section 3.
To run events, promotions, and giveaways.
To understand what's working, improve our products and website, and plan new products.
To measure and show ads, including showing PupSnap ads to people who visited our site or who resemble our audience.
To keep the Services secure, prevent fraud, and comply with the law.

How we share it

Service providers that work for us, such as our website host, email platform, payment processors, crowdfunding and pledge platforms, shipping and fulfillment partners, and analytics providers. They may use your information only to provide services to PupSnap.
Affiliates: companies under common ownership or control with PupSnap, which must follow this policy.
Event attendees: event photo galleries are shared with everyone who signed up for that event.
The public: photos you've agreed we may post, and content you share publicly with us.
Legal and safety reasons: when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of PupSnap, our users, or others.
Business transfers: if PupSnap is merged, acquired, or sells its assets, your information may transfer to the new owner, which will be bound by this policy.

Brand partners. We may send you offers from brand partners, but we send them ourselves. We do not sell your personal information or give your contact details to partners for their own marketing unless you separately agree at the time.

Cookies and advertising

We and advertising partners such as Meta, TikTok, and Google may use cookies and pixels on our site to measure ads and show you PupSnap ads elsewhere online. Under some state laws, this kind of ad targeting may be considered "sharing" of personal information. You can limit it by adjusting your browser's cookie settings, using your ad settings on those platforms, or visiting optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org. Our site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, but we honor Global Privacy Control signals where the law requires.

Your choices

Email: unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email, or email us.
Texts: reply STOP to any text.
Photos: ask us to take down any photo or video of you or your dog, and we will remove it from channels we control within 10 business days (see Terms of Use, Section 4).
Access, correction, and deletion: email info.pupsnap@gmail.com to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to opt out of ad-related sharing. We honor these requests for everyone, wherever you live, and respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity, and we may keep some information where the law requires it, such as order records.

We won't treat you differently for using any of these choices.

How long we keep it

We keep contact information while you remain subscribed or have an open order or pledge, and for a reasonable period after, then delete or anonymize it. We keep order and tax records as long as the law requires. Event photos may be kept in our archive and on our channels unless you ask us to remove them.

Security

We use reputable platforms and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of storing or sending data online is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. Sign-ups and purchases are for adults 18 and over. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We'll post any changes here with a new effective date, and notify sign-ups of significant changes by email or on our website.
